Details of new Samsung smartphone leak

The first Samsung mobile to run Android Ice Cream Sandwich, Google's next update to the popular platform, has had its technical specs spilled online, igniting plenty of excitement and debate.
The handset in question will be the GT-19220, although it would not be a surprise to see it join Samsung's Galaxy range with a snappier moniker upon its official launch.
The big news is that it will have a display measuring 4.65 inches across the diagonal, much larger even than the 4.3 inch screen of the Galaxy S2. Super AMOLED Plus technology will make this expansive display come to life and a resolution of 1280x720 will give it true HD credentials.
A five megapixel camera and a dual core processor will combine to bring 1080p video recording to the table. The actual clock speed of the CPU is still up for debate, with some suggesting it could be as high as 1.5GHz on each core, making it the most powerful mobile in the world.
Samsung might be in the process of creating this handset in order to add it to the Google Nexus range of smartphones. It already created the hardware for the Nexus S, basing it on its original Galaxy S model, which makes further collaboration with the search giant likely, according to IntoMobile.
While Android is clearly the platform that is making the largest amount of cash for Samsung, it is still slugging away at other mobile operating systems, including its own in-house Bada software. This will be appearing on three mobiles later in the year, alongside the new Android handsets and at least one Windows Phone 7-based model.
The one issue relating to the rumoured GT-19220 is that its screen may be a little too large for some tastes, coming dangerously close to matching tablet-style crossovers like the Dell Streak in terms of size.
