Mobile recycling award earned by Envirofone

The winners at this year's Mobile Choice Consumer Awards have been announced this week, with the prize for best smartphone recycling company going to long established operator, Envirofone.
The judges gave the firm top marks largely as a result of the security features offered by its website, which is protected by SSL encryption and means that it is much less likely that personal data relating to customers will fall into the wrong hands.
Other advantages of Envirofone highlighted in the awards include the six month warranty which is offered to customers who buy its refurbished phones, as well as the fact that it will accept damaged devices with accurate quotes provided. It will even offer free recorded shipping of especially valuable devices which are being sent into it.
The other mobile phone recycling companies which were nominated for the award included Mazuma Mobile, O2 Recycle and Music Magpie.
The judging panel pointed out that, on average, people will use a mobile handset for two years before upgrading, in spite of the fact that devices can last three times as long without any issues arising. And with 6.86 billion phones sitting unused in cupboards and attics around the world, it is no wonder that recycling campaigners are eager to initiate a cultural change in this marketplace.
Selling your old mobile phone to one of the many reputable companies operating in the UK is a good idea if you want to reclaim some money from your old device rather than letting it go to waste. It is also possible to compare quotes offered from the major recycling firms in order to identify the best possible deal available and ensure that you get a fair price for your device, along with excellent customer service and subsequent support.
