Nokia leaks Windows Phone handset pics

Nokia is gearing up to reveal its first Windows Phone mobiles at the Nokia World conference this week but, ahead of the official unveiling, a few leaked images showing the upcoming handsets were published online.
The Nokia 800 is going to be the flagship Windows Phone device from the Finnish manufacturer and in the pictures acquired by PocketNow, it looks every bit as stylish as you would hope.
Similar to the N9, it features an angular chassis with rounded edges and a reported 3.7 inch OLED display. A variety of different colour casings will be available, from classic black to hot pink and sky blue, so it should hook the youth market, as well as more serious users.
Nokia is also releasing a smaller, cheaper Windows Phone handset still known only by its prototype codename of Sabre.
The Nokia Sabre will have a 3.5 inch display and a slightly more rounded and chunky exterior shell, although WinRumours has said that it will still sport a 1.4GHz single core processor and a solid 1GB of RAM, to ensure that version 7.5 of Windows Phone runs just as it should.
Nokia World is being held in London this week and Microsoft head honcho, Steve Ballmer, is going to be there to help promote these new Windows Phone mobiles.
It is expected that the handsets will be available to buy before the end of the year, although Nokia has not yet confirmed that the UK will be amongst the first countries to get the 800 and the Sabre. An international roll-out will continue into 2012 and further WP7 models are anticipated from Nokia.
The partnership between Nokia and Microsoft has taken what feels like an age to bear any fruit, but these smartphones certainly look like they have been worth the wait.
