Windows Phone 7 update arriving in late March

The second round of updates for smartphones based on Windows Phone 7, will be arriving before the end of the month, according to Microsoft's French arm.
The first update for the platform was distributed at the start of the month, but it suffered some setbacks after it emerged that certain Samsung Omnia 7 handsets would either suffer glitches or cease working entirely, after it was applied.
Microsoft quickly released a fix for this issue and has subsequently announced that in the second half of the month, the much more significant update will be making its appearance for Windows Phone 7 users across the globe.
A March 21st launch date is being touted by sources at ZDNet, which is certainly in line with the official verdict, although Microsoft is still keeping quiet over the specifics of the issue.
This latest Windows Phone 7 update is called NoDo and a French technology site has already been given a sneak preview of the software in action.
The biggest improvement made as part of the update is that the software will allow users to copy and paste chunks of text and other elements from one area of the phone to another. This will make sending emails in which you quote websites or other messages considerable easier.
As well as adding copy and paste, the update will also allow Windows Phone 7 users to boot up apps quicker than ever before, making the whole user experience feel slicker and smoother.
Microsoft will be hoping that no similar phone-crashing issues are revealed when the second Windows Phone 7 update arrives later in the month. Given that it had originally promised copy and paste at the start of the year, it will be a most welcome arrival amongst many users.
