ZTE Geek revealed

Chinese firm ZTE is attempting to become one of the world's most important mobile manufacturers and in the past few months it has unleashed a number of ambitious smartphones, which could well improve its global reputation.
The ZTE Geek is the latest handset to enter the spotlight and it is not the typical cheap and cheerful model that you might expect from this particular company.
The Geek comes with a 2GHz Intel Atop processor and it is the first time that ZTE has used this kind of chip in a mobile device.
On the front is a five inch display with a 720p resolution, so while it may have the same panel area as the Samsung Galaxy S4, it is not quite able to match up to its 1080p pixel count.
Bringing the ZTE Geek to life is a 2300mAh battery, which should be big enough to keep all of its hardware powered up for a full day's usage.
There is even an eight megapixel camera on the rear, along with a one megapixel secondary snapper up front for video calls.
Android Jelly Bean is preinstalled, although it is worth noting that since the Geek runs an Intel chip, not all of the apps available to download from Google Play will actually be compatible. This is the annoying thing about non-ARM processor architectures that sometimes crops up in the mobile market.
At the moment, there are no details about the ZTE Geek's price or release date, but it is possible to make a few assumptions. We should see this handset within the next few months and in terms of price, it is likely to fall at the upper end of the mid-range bracket, since it does not quite manage to match market-leading devices in the hardware department.
